Kia ora, My name is Helen and I am a primary school teacher with a real passion for science, STEM and digital technologies. I completed my Graduate Diploma in teaching through the University of Canterbury.
I am originally from the UK and prior to teaching I studied agriculture and worked and managed dairy farms in England and in New Zealand.
In my spare time I love being immersed in a good book, growing vegetables and attending to the plants in my garden, walking and cycling and spending time with my family and pets- a cheeky jack russell and a very relaxed cat!
I am really excited to be a teacher in the VLN programme and look forward to supporting and growing students in their learning journey.
