Kaupapa Ako Kura Tuatahi
Primary Programmes
Kōtui Ako VLN, provides Aotearoa’s learners the opportunity to register in one or more of our many Primary level programmes.
A wide range of curricula
Choose from a wide range of curricula including:
- Te Reo Māori and Kapa Haka, New Zealand Sign Language and international languages;
- STEM subjects;
- Literacy and Creative Arts;
- Complex Thinking and Sustainability.
Curriculum levels for languages are at Level 1/2, other programmes Level 3/4, and extension programmes Level 4+.
We provide learning pathways across primary and secondary, so learners looking for further extension may be able to participate in secondary programmes.
Learning online in our Primary programmes wouldn’t be possible without our wonderful team of e-Teachers. Kōtui Ako VLN is a registered educational setting with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand. Primary e-Teachers participate in our Professional Growth Cycle, and are attested by us, ensuring that we provide quality teaching and learning opportunities.
Kōtui Ako VLN supports the Rural and Remote Schools Project
Growing up in remote and isolated schools can mean students have little social contact with others their own age until they go to high school. Reducing the social isolation for our children (and their teachers) and preparing them for successful transition for high school is a key goal of this project.
If you have a great idea for a project and would like to partner with us, get in touch.
